A green home is more comfortable, cheaper to operate, and treads lightly on the environment.

Green Building Consulting

Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professionals (LEED APs)

The conversation before discussing renewable energy should be the talk about conserving energy. Energy conservation is the first step in creating a successful energy solution.

Blue Pacific Energy offers green building consulting. We can assist in the design/build process to create all aspects of a greener building and source green materials. Our US Green Building Council Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professionals (LEED® APs) can facilitate the LEED certification process.

We also assess existing buildings and develop energy conservation strategies. Matching the right products with the project, we can decrease the energy needs. This allows the renewable wind energy to be that much more effective.

"Forget that this task of planet-saving is not possible in the time required. Don’t be put off by people who know what is not possible. Do what needs to be done, and check to see if it was impossible only after you are done." – Paul Hawken

LEED Accredited Professionals (LEED APs) have demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building techniques, the LEED Green Building Rating System, and the certification process. For more information about LEED Certification visit The U.S. Green Building Council ( www.usgbc.org ).

"Price was a leading factor. Actual projected savings and payback on our investment were also big concerns. Aesthetics also played a part in our decision and we thought the Skystream structure itself was very attractive to look at. We felt our neighbors would not consider it an eyesore either. Of course, we want to try to help the environment, what with all the news reports all about going "green" and we wanted to be a part of that movement. We also believe that if/when we ever retire and sell the house, having a wind turbine up and running and saving on electric bills would be a big plus to any future owners." - Nancy from Texas
